6.3 Online graduate portal

The broad national footprint of the Group with nearly 70 offices
spread across South Africa demands a central graduate application
portal through which graduates can apply. The Group’s graduate
recruitment website (www.phfirms.co.za/graduates) fulfils this role
by providing students and graduates across South Africa with the
ability to apply online through the online graduate portal for articles
or vacation programmes on offer at any member firm.

The graduate portal, easily accessible via any device, makes it easy
for students to view member firms, create a personal profile and apply
to any of these firms, enhancing the attractiveness of the portal as a
gateway to a diverse range of firms. Its ease of use has translated into
nearly 3,700 applications being received in 2016, further increasing
to over 4,600 applications in 2017, confirming the demand for such a
central portal and its impact on graduates.
